FREE Pride Make & Take: Floating Pop-Up Cards
Celebrate Austin’s Pride Month by learning to make floating pop-up cards at this free make and take! They are a fun and whimsical way to send a note to a friend or loved one.

Affirmation Letter Writing with Trans Texas
Join Trans Texas and Austin Creative Reuse for a heartfelt evening of crafting letters to spread hope, affirmation, and connection! ✉️💖
What You’ll Create:
💌 Handmade Letters of Love: Use reclaimed scrapbook paper, stickers, washi tape, and colorful materials to design uplifting letters for those in need of encouragement. Write messages of support, resilience, or joy—every word matters!
🎨 Creative Reuse Magic: Transform discarded materials into beautiful keepsakes, proving that even “scraps” can become treasures.
🌍 Community Care: Your letters will be shared with individuals facing challenges, reminding them they’re not alone.

Workshop: Father's Day Cards
Some of the techniques used in this class will be heat embossing, splatter ink and stamping. Participants can also experiment on their own and see how tearing and sanding foiled paper creates an awesome effect! The instructor will have a wide range of materials available, but a majority will be hardware/tool or wildflower themed.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+ only (yes, adults, too!). Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If the adult is there only to assist, they do not have to purchase a separate ticket for themselves. If the adult wishes to participate as well, they must have their own ticket.
Workshop: Tea Bag Origami
In this workshop, participants will learn the art of Tea Bag Folding, which is very similar to origami, and made unique cards to gift for any occasion- a great option for Mother’s Day! Everyone will leave the class with 2 completed cards featuring Tea Bag Folding and supplies to make more at home.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Easter Card Making
We’re going to have a blast making 3 different cards, including a confetti-shaker card! The instructor will have tons of examples to help you get inspired and you can go wherever inspiration leads you.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+ only (yes, adults, too!).
Workshop: Intro to Advanced Card Making
Participants will have access to a wide variety of stencils, embossing folders, dies and ink to play with. After the instructor demonstrates how to use these tools (as well as showing some finished samples), you will be free to make as many cards as you want!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.
Workshop: Foiled Hearts, Cards & More!
This is a great workshop if you are just starting out or have been crafting for years. You’ll be playing with a product that you can use for any type of project- double sided foiled paper! It will hold its shape and is incredibly fun to work with. The instructor will teach several different techniques to make stand-out cards, including embossing!
This workshop is appropriate for ages 18+ only.
Workshop: Origami Valentine
Create a unique and creative valentine card using origami! Participants will learn two ways to fold an origami heart, as well as how to fold an origami envelop you can fill with your own sweet message of love.
This workshop is appropriate for ages 11+ only.
Make & Take: Holiday Gift Tags
Stop by our community space (opposite the registers) any time between 1pm-3pm for a quick and free craft! Our talented volunteer, Audrey (she/her), will be there with materials to help you make some expert gift tags for the upcoming holiday season! No need to RSVP- just show up ready to create!
Workshop: Foiled Paper Fun! Fall Card Making
Whether you are just starting out on your crafting journey or have been crafting for years, you'll love getting creative with foiled paper! You’ll use alcohol inks and Rinea double sided foil to make fall cards featuring absolutely gorgeous leaves! The instructor will show you fun foiled paper techniques to make your cards extra-special, and you can make as many cards as time allows!
